24-Hour PA, a non-profit physician group, is seeking full-time Emergency Medicine (EM) physicians for its 8 Baylor Scott & White Micro-hospitals across the Dallas/Fort Worth area. This opportunity offers a competitive independent contractor rate and a supportive environment. Our facilities consist of 16 beds today, 8 ED beds and 8 inpatient beds.

• Provide emergency care in a variety of settings across multiple hospital sites.
• Collaborate with Hospitalists, Tele-Critical Care, Tele-Cards, and Tele-ID for patient care.
• Manage and treat a wide range of medical conditions, ensuring quality care and patient safety.
• Utilize EMR (Epic) for patient documentation.
• Review CT scans, plain films, and ultrasound reports, with 24-hour reading availability.

• Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required
• Travel to all facility locations as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Ability to work off-hours and on call when required

• ABEM (American Board of Emergency Medicine) certified or Family Medicine physician with an Emergency Medicine Fellowship.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Must be comfortable working with a team of hospitalists and utilizing telemedicine resources.
• Ability to manage patient care for both emergency and inpatient needs.
• Ability to work within the following shift types:
  • 24-hour shifts at sites seeing less than 27 patients.
  • 12-hour shifts at higher-volume locations seeing more than 30 patients per day.
  • APPs (Advanced Practice Providers) provide 12-hour coverage at a single site seeing approximately 45-55 patients daily.
