HIGHLIGHTS
The purpose of this position is to drive and support the organization’s talent acquisition needs by leveraging current market intelligence and innovative recruitment strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates. This role will serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers and colleagues throughout the recruitment process, with a particular focus on sourcing and hiring for information technology (IT) and other specialized roles. The Senior Recruiter will provide expert guidance on IT talent trends, competitive market insights, and effective strategies to build strong, high-performing teams across the organization.
Manage the full life cycle recruitment process of qualified candidates for assigned requisitions, with a focus on technical and IT-related roles (infrastructure, applications, security, data, etc.).
Strategize with hiring managers on hiring and staffing methods, including defining technical requirements, role specifications, and assessment criteria.
Negotiate compensation and other relevant employment details with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring alignment with market data for IT positions.
Manage applicants, positions, and reports through the use of an applicant tracking system and other reporting tools; maintain accurate pipeline data for specialized IT searches.
Screen employment applications/resumes and conduct initial interviews, including technical pre-screens when applicable, to assess qualifications and skill fit.
Coordinate interviews for qualified candidates with appropriate hiring managers; create interview agendas and schedule travel arrangements as necessary.
Build and maintain relationships with both passive and active candidates, particularly within the IT talent community, serving as a trusted advisor to enhance the candidate experience.
Conduct industry, market, and technical skill research to identify and attract qualified candidates for clinical, non-clinical, corporate, and IT positions, utilizing the following resources and techniques:
Leverage technical job boards, GitHub, Stack Overflow, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other platforms for IT sourcing.
Expand social media footprint on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms; engage with technology associations, user groups, and online communities.
Solicit candidates through employment advertisements, internal and external postings, relevant websites, cold calling, and other creative sourcing methods.
Source candidates through social media, networking, job boards, employee referrals, Boolean searches, and ATS searches, with emphasis on targeting niche technical talent pools.
Advise hiring managers on effective use of social networking to engage passive candidates and promote employer brand within the IT community.
