Position Overview

The IT Deployment Specialist is responsible for hardware deployment, new site launches and project initiatives that collaborate with various business teams and operations groups within Emerus.  This role will focus on technical projects that require heavy engagement between Construction/Facilities, Supply Chain, Operations, PMO and IT to ensure the successful turnover of new facilities across multiple markets. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Technical scoping and milestone planning of facility deployments and successful execution of project schedules
  • Technical risk assessments, mitigation planning and updates to project tasks
  • Pre-implementation planning and analysis of technical solutions
  • Developing repeatable processes, policies, support practices and documentation
  • Perform configuration and installation of new systems
  • Install and support network communication systems and equipment
  • Deploy and configure clinical ancillary hardware and software
  • Communicate implementation project progress, issues and resolutions to IT PMO
  • Ability to manage, communicate and ensure expectations are being met by vendors
  • Develop IT equipment specification and hardware lists for facility deployment

Other Job Functions

  • Maintain confidentiality and security standards and policies for the organization
  • Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required
  • Ability to work off-hours and on-call
  • Travel up to 40-60% of the time in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this position required

Basic Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent technical work experience or certifications
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal is required
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • 2-5 years of experience in application, technical support, or systems administration and deployment
  • Experience Imaging desktops and laptops
  • Must be able to work independently with little or no direction. Must also be able to work closely with all levels of management, staff, vendors and consultants
  • Experience troubleshooting basic LAN\WAN issues

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Customer service and/or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Experience with supporting EHR/EMR, Revenue Cycle systems or similar applications preferred.
  • A+, Network+ or Microsoft certifications a plus
