    Position Overview

    The purpose of this position is to support and maintain the Human Resource Information Systems (Workday, iCIMS, and others), as well as manage other special projects as assigned. This individual will serve as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assist with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The Sr. HRIS Analyst will support HR team members with reports as needed. This position is located in The Woodlands, and will report directly to the Senior Director of HR. We are looking for a “big thinker” who can operate with autonomy and embrace high levels of accountability.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Troubleshoot, analyze, detect, identify and correct technical problems and deficiencies
    • Run scheduled reports and create reports as needed
    • Participate in the development of, and advise management on, information technology strategy and technology deployment
    • Function as Project Manager for HRIS upgrades and projects
    • Ensure personnel actions are in compliance with current Human Resources policies and guidelines
    • Identify, write, and implement Human Resources guidelines regarding the Workday HRIS
    • Identify opportunities for improving Human Resources processes through information systems changes
    • Develop training curriculum and conduct formal and informal training sessions regarding the HRIS
    • Provide HRIS technical support to Human Resources and other staff
    • Serve as liaison among Human Resources, Benefits, Recruitment, and Payroll areas with regard to operations and the HRIS
    • Resolve complex technical problems
    • Provide other support to Human Resources management and staff as assigned or needed

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
    • 5 years of Human Resources experience
    • 2 years experience with Workday HRIS, including reporting, business processes and configuration
    • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures in order to ensure correct implementation
    • Strong understanding of HRMS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools
    • Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication
