    Position Overview

    The purpose of this position is to provide analytical support in the conceptualization and development of new business ventures. This position will be responsible for researching and analyzing potential business opportunities, as well as, produce financial data and information for both internal and external users.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Use strong research, strategic, and analytical skills to identity potential business or market opportunities and to support the growth of the company.
    • Performs various financial data gathering, analysis, and modeling on company operations and other business ventures so as to identify issues, enhance the company’s performance, set financial targets, and recommend action plans. 
    • Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
    • Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers.
    • Assists in the development of a strong pipeline of new customers and projects in accounts through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.
    • Able to work independently across functions, manage highly complex projects, and be the development subject matter expert.
    • Works with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives.
    • Preparation of ad hoc reports and financial models on an as needed basis.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Individual can have either a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting so long as a strong understanding of financial statements and analytics is exhibited and strong GPA is presented. 
    • At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting is required.
    • Healthcare industry knowledge, preferred.
    • Excellent MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills are a must. 
    • Minimum of 12 hours in Accounting related courses, a plus. 
    • A strong mathematics background is a plus, with even more credit given for statistical understanding. 
    • Position requires fluency in English; written and oral communication
