Emerus is America’s first and largest operator of micro-hospitals and off-campus EDs caring for more than 1 million patients to date. The first OCED, located in Parkland, WA is scheduled to open in Q2 2019.

    About this Role:


    As the Patient Access Tech, you will foster the environment we are creating by welcoming each patient and their families. In our OCEDs, patients can expect the highest level of care and accurate patient registration when every second counts. While working closely with both financial and clinical teams, you are promoting the optimum patient experience, appropriate cash flow and reimbursements as teams of exceptional medical professionals take charge, treating patients with speed, compassion and expertise.     Basic Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Graduate of a health vocational program such as Patient Access, Medical Assistance, Medical Billing & Insurance, or general medical studies
      • OR
    • Associate’s degree, and six months healthcare experience
      • OR
    • Bachelor’s degree and customer service
      • OR
    • One (1) year admitting, billing, or registration experience in a health care setting and customer experience
